I made this site because I love having something to do and something to make my own, and coding gives me that. I spend full days planning new pages, getting images and crying over broken code.
I found out about Neocities in late 2022, a little before I turned 13. I was captivated by the fact you could do literally anything. So I went and found a template on github and I made a site. I've made a few sites for myself and for my friends since then and I even tried to do a coding course in college but it needed qualifications I didn't have :(
